Delete an account

You can delete your Godforsaken Isles account yourself in the game, or ask us to do it. Deleting is for good: the colony, the heroes and everything bought go with it, and we cannot bring them back.

In the game

Tap your face at the top left of the main screen. Your profile opens.
Tap Settings, then Account (it needs a connection to the server).
Tap Delete account, then hold Delete account on the page that opens. If the account has an email, the game asks its password first.

An account with more than one character: the button says Delete this character and deletes the one you are playing; under Characters, tap Play beside each in turn and delete it. The account goes with its last character.

To delete only some of your data and keep the account: delete some of your data.

Without the game

If you no longer have the game, write to support@crazyraccoongames.com with the subject Delete my account:

from the email linked to the account, or
with the account's id (it is shown in Settings, Account, and a tap copies it).

We may ask a question to be sure the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days and write back when it is done.

What is erased

The account: its email, its password, its devices' keys.
The game: the colony, the heroes, what was owned.
What others saw: the name, the profile pictures, the place on the boards, the messages in chat (both sides of its private chats), its reports and blocks.

What is kept, why, and for how long

Records of purchases (what was bought, when, at what price, the store's number for it and any creator code), under the account's id: for accounting and tax, six years after the end of the year of the purchase.
What our staff did with the account (its id, what was done and why, their notes, what was searched for): as long as the game runs, so that no staff action can be hidden.
The mark that the account was deleted, so that its id is never used again: as long as the game runs.
Records of how the game was played, under the account's random id, with no name and no email: until they are 24 months old.
Backups made before the deletion, until they are dropped: thirty days at most.
What other players' devices already fetched, such as a picture, stays on those devices.
